For Scarborough Physio and Health, HotDoc is "superior in every way" to what they've used before!

The Scarborough Physio and Health did have some previous ideas of what HotDoc was all about. But they'd already used some of the other solutions on the market, like HealthEngine and Whitecoat, and the experience wasn't great – the Scarborough team even suspected these platforms were competing with the clinic’s own Google ads.

All that changed when a colleague of Scarborough director Nick Schuster referred him to HotDoc.

Getting Started

Setting up the basics on some of these competitors took half a day, and Scarborough Physio and Health expected the same thing with HotDoc. They were pleasantly surprised when they found that getting set up on HotDoc was a breeze. Integrating the solution with Scarborough’s existing PMS, Cliniko, was “dead easy.” From here, the team were able to free up time to optimise the profiles of each of Scarborough’s practitioners – providing all the information that patients need to find the right practitioner for them – but even that took only about 5 minutes for each profile.

Among the biggest advantages for Scarborough was the freedom and flexibility: “I could write what I wanted and upload photos easily, so I liked the user experience on the back end.”

Integrating HotDoc

HotDoc uses APIs to integrate directly with existing practice management software. This meant the solution was up and running almost instantly at Scarborough Physio and Health, connecting with Cliniko and displaying availabilities almost immediately.

The Scarborough team were overjoyed by how easy the integration was and absolutely love the backend HotDoc dashboard. “I can see who books and when, even down to the client’s name – which I love!”
